At Australian Mens Assembly Inc (AMA), we stand on the finished work of Jesus Christ. We recognize that we have no power of our own; our strength comes solely from our Heavenly Father. Our beliefs are not a set of rules, but a surrender to the Truth of the Gospel.
Our Statement of Beliefs — the 14 foundational truths that guide everything we do at AMA.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of our Heavenly Father. It is the supreme authority that points us to the heart of Jesus.
We believe in the one true eternal Creator — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — perfect in unity and sovereign over all.
We believe the Father created all things, forming man and woman in His own image to dwell in a perfect, loving relationship with Him.
We believe sin entered the world through disobedience, separating us from the Father. But what man broke, God intended to restore through His Son.
We believe that through the acceptance of God's grace and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we are transformed to reflect the nature of Jesus Christ, the only perfect man.
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. Out of the Father's infinite love, Jesus died to pay the debt of our sin and rose from the grave, defeating death forever.
We believe salvation is a gift of grace from the Father, received only through faith in Jesus Christ by those who repent and seek His forgiveness.
We believe the Father sent the Holy Spirit to live within us — our Comforter, our Guide, and the one who connects us to the heart of the Father.
We believe the Father desires us to be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit to use the gifts He provides, including speaking in tongues, for His glory.
We believe the Church belongs to Jesus. It is His body, and He commands us to gather for fellowship, prayer, and communion to remain stayed on Him.
We believe our Heavenly Father has a specific purpose for every man: to worship Him, to serve His Church, and to be a vessel of His love in the community.
We believe it is the Father's will to heal and transform us, moving us into a healthy, blessed life so that we may better reflect the compassion of Jesus to others.
We believe Jesus is the only way to the Father. He is the gate to eternal life. Those who are in Christ are joint heirs with Him for eternity.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ will return in glory, just as He promised.
