Who We Are
At Australian Mens Assembly Inc (AMA), we are a movement taking worship and the message of Jesus Christ beyond the church walls and into the heart of our communities. As a registered not-for-profit and ACNC charity, our mission is entrenched in faith, intentional community, and the practical transformation of lives.
AMA is more than an organization โ we are a movement of action, dedicated to the benevolent restoration of men and their families across Australia.

Our Direction
"To see the name of Jesus lifted high across Australian cities through bold, public worship and intentional acts of love. We envision a movement where men from all walks of life โ believers and seekers alike โ gather to encounter God's presence, finding the freedom, accountability, and grace needed to step into a new life of purpose and service."
Our Purpose
The Australian Mens Assembly Inc is dedicated to a threefold mission of spiritual and practical restoration

We inspire and equip creative Christians to step out in faith, using their gifts โ music, testimony, and the Word โ to confidently share their faith and make Jesus known in public spaces.

We collaborate with local churches, ministries, and organizations to foster unity in the body of Christ, creating joint worship and outreach opportunities that transform entire communities.

We address both spiritual and practical needs, providing hope and transformation to those facing the "chains" of modern life, including social and economic challenges.
Public Benevolent Purpose
In alignment with our status as a Public Benevolent Institution, AMA is committed to the following objectives for the benefit of all men, regardless of background or faith
We provide practical support for men facing homelessness, food insecurity, and economic hardship by assisting with housing pathways and essential needs.
We aim to improve the mental health of men through peer support, addiction recovery resources, and dedicated anger management programs.
We mentor men in becoming "Men of God" โ loving husbands and present, godly fathers โ strengthening the family unit and the wider community.
We partner with community-minded organizations for fundraising and donate surplus funds annually to designated charities that support men and their families.

Chairman & Founder
"I was a wild kid who became a soldier and a laborer. I've driven the heavy rigs and I've dug the holes. But the hardest work I ever did was allowing God to rebuild my heart."
Raymond served 11 years in the Australian Army (RAE) as a Driver and Field Engineer, rising to the rank of Corporal. He spent 23 years with Goodman Fielder, 5 years as a small business owner, and decades as a heavy rigid truck driver โ a man forged by hard work and service.
In 2013, Raymond lost his first wife of 35 years to cancer. After years of struggle with "secret chains," shame, and denial, he was led to Christ in 2018 โ "ignited with the fire of faith." He has since facilitated the Conquer Series 8 times and the Warpath Series 3 times, becoming a pillar for men's groups across Brisbane. In 2021, he married the woman who led him to Jesus.
Raymond launched the "Breaking Chains" Men's Convention in late 2024 and formed AMA Inc. to provide the Aftercare that one-off events cannot โ a volunteer-led network providing mental health support, addiction recovery, housing assistance, and family restoration.
"We aren't just a charity; we are a brotherhood. We are building the databases and the contacts to ensure that when a man cries out for help in Brisbane, there is an Assembly of men ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him."
